While we love to spend time on the farm, we also enjoy exploring the area near and far. Below is information regarding some of our favorite places to explore, as well as some fun/eccentric/noteworthy/enjoyable things we have come across.

Mountain Biking

Kingdom Trails, East Burke, VT

These trails are fun and challenging for all levels of rider, from the easy double track of the VAST trail, to the exhilarating curves of Sidewinder. We have yet to be disappointed with a trip to the KTA. Day or season’s passes are necessary, and support the serious trail building that is on-going. Don’t forget to leave time after your ride for a snack from the Vermont Food Truck and a libation from Mike’s Tiki Bar.

STAB, Brownsville, VT

These trails are a hidden gem. We love parking at the old resort and striking out on a climb up the switchbacks on the ski trails, or into the woods for some great single track. The volunteers from STAB have done a great job creating a network of fun with both easy and challenging trails, arduous climbs and hair-raising downhills, and unlike the KTA, you won’t feel over run by other riders on a beautiful weekend. Maps are available at places like the Brownsville Store.

Boston Lot, Lebanon, NH
