We stopped by to pick up other supplies today and Eleanor found a perfect chore bucket. She loves to help feed the pigs, but the regular bucket is just too big. Despite being exhausted from hiking today, she had to try out the new bucket.

In other news, Forrest, despite now years of having electric fences around, managed to get himself in with the pigs and then not know how to get back out without a shock. Eleanor had to help me rescue him while Jeremiah was clearing some brush from the fence line. Forrest was lucky, the pigs were busy with grain and didn’t even notice his presence. If they had been finished eating, I suspect they would have gotten up to some mischief and he would have really regretted his decision to enter the pasture.
